What is Yoga?

Yoga is a science that has been practised for thousands of years. It consists of ancient spiritual philosophies and principles about the body, mind and spirit connection, yoga has become a popular form of physical exercise based on asanas (physical poses) to promote improved control of mind and body and to enhance well-being.

Why practise Yoga?

Physically yoga promotes flexibility and skeleton muscular fitness.
It also improves the functioning of the circulatory, cardiovascular, endocrine and nervous systems.

About Amanda van de Klundert

I began yoga 25 years ago whilst working in the corporate world. My yoga helped me deal with the stress of work life and provided me with a great sense of balance. I soon became addicted. Yoga became so much more than a physical experience and more of a connection and nurturing for my inner self.

Whilst living in New Zealand, Australia, Asia & Europe I practised many different styles of yoga and visited various workshops and retreats. In 2013, I felt ready to complete my Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification and share with others the great benefits Yoga can bring.

AMANDA IS A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER AND A CERTIFIED MASTER COACH.AMANDA COMPLETED HER HATHA YOGA ALLIANCE 200HR TRAINING WITH SHY SAYAR / TANTRAVAYA YOGA AND IS NOW A TEACHER TRAINEE IN THE IYENGAR METHOD WITH JOY SANDERS / NORTH SHORE IYENGAR YOGA, AUCKLAND

Yoga classes for all levels taught by a certified Yoga teacher and certified master coach. Promotes your flexibility and skeleton muscular fitness with the practice of Yoga.
